Teach Me Layers
So I understand you have a trans tile, layer 0 is the definitions for swimming, walking, or blocking, you can overlay with layer 1 on swimming or walking to look how you want it to and keep the swim/walk definitions, and blocking tiles keep definitions on all layers, so why would you need a layer 3, 4, or 5? I don't understand anything past that and if someone wouldn't mind explaining please.....
:D |
Well, layer 0 for the water, this is what you use to swim. Layer 1 would be the sand at the bottom. Then you need Layer 2 for water again.. But other then that I have never needed more then those 3 layers. I would be interested to hear what other people say as well.

I don't use transparency at all in the tileset. Transparency in your tileset will make your layered levels behave oddly, especially on gmaps, as you could see on Roak @ Cyril.
Alpha blending on the other hand... <3 |
