levelgen
Does anyone else have problems using the levelgen? I have tried png, gif, and bmp.. all of which were 256 colors.. and it just refuses to generate anything at all for me.
|
I think the colors has to have the right indexes for the colors or the image needs to have the exact same colors. I've had issues with this aswell but can't remember how I fixed it.

Oh, the width/height must be exact. It has to be possible to divide the number by something...
How many levels does the example file generate? Is it 2x2? |

well, divide the width / height of the example and use that amount of pixels times five then, or are you implying that didn't work? I'm on linux now, otherwise I would've tested this myself.

This is odd, I tried again. Did GIF, it distorted the image badly.. i tried and it generated a map.. so i drew some grass.. and it didnt work.. i removed the grass it still didnt work.. that literally makes no sense at all =/

Which program are you using to edit the file?

Ah, I believe that's your issue. The color palette is messed up when resaving in mspaint.

If you just want a blank gmap there is a website for it in the level section
