pics1 tileset

I probably posted this in the wrong spot but wasn't sure where to put it.

For a pics1 type tileset do you have to do manual scripting to pick up bushes and stuff?

The tileset is set as type 1, and the bush is in the same spot as noted on the graal bible site, but you can't pick it up on default movement...

well stefan should add a tile detection depending on the type of the tileset and move them to proper spots... its pretty annoying :/

So it actually just doesn't work??

Lame. What kind of joke is it to support a different style tileset from default but not actually fully support it?

If you are using gonstruct you need to put the bush in layer 0?
Im not sure but i think atleast chairs work like that, could be worth a try atleast :)

I'll check with decus. I haven't touched levels in years lol, much less used gonstruct almost ever. xD

Has anyone had success in using type 1 and default movement to pick up bushes? I honestly can't remember if it ever worked on ours.

It's on layer 0, and even attempting layer 1 didn't work. Lame.

So, just to ask again, every single person that has used type 1 has had to do custom movement of some sort to at least pick up bushes, hide under then, and pick up signs, and throw both?

Gos_pira 12-29-2012 10:02 AM

type 1 is mainly for people that want to script their own movement systems i think.

Type 1 objects do not work correctly, that is true. You can take a look at my code if you need some ideas for a custom bush/stone/whatever system.

Appreciate it.

I will note again it's incredibly lame to leave that out, as chairs, onwall, water, and other things do in fact work.

Maybe Stefan will do something about it, but I rather doubt it. You should always support default systems completely, not half ass...
