Spar Tournement 15/12/2012
 

Hello everybody,

I am going to host a Spar Tournement this Saturday. (00:00 Server Time)

How is it going to work?

It is pretty simple. We will set up it in a bracket-system (depending on how many People sign up for the Tournement).
Every fight will be 1vs1 and so on, till the Finals.
The Finals will be splitted in 3 fights, that Player who wins 2 of the 3 Fights wins.

Depending on the number of participants there will be a 1st-3rd Prize. I am not sure about the Prizes yet, but they will definately being worth joining the Tournement.

If you want to register, feel free to PM one of the Events Masters. They will forward your Account/Community name to me.

(Trials are also allowed, we will try to balance the Fights as good as we can)

Will you be posting the prizes before the tournament because I don't know if I can renew my gold If I don't know the prize. Not only talking on my behalf I'm positive everyone else would want to know.

I don't care, im still upgrading.. but im not participating. I don't spar.

Trials are allowed to participate too. No need for Gold.

Do you really expect a trial to win? Gold is most likely necessary in order to be 1st..

You need plenty more people but the spar's tomorrow? Damn.. The main reason I did ask you to post the prize was to actually bring a (great amount of players) to the spar. I personally think that a ''good prize'' will motivate people to go to the spar you may think that's absurd or people are lazy and will never come but it's just the way I think. I do hope enough people show up there hasn't been a spar in a long time but balancing the fights that'd be hard to do and can easily be unfair even when trying to balance.

What timezone is server time in? Why not just give event times in actual human time?

if a trial flaws u then the trial wins, the chances are slim but it has been done before.
Using a normal sword (without poison) against a trial would balance the fight out.

I would of have participated but unfortunately i don't have the time for it today.

I know if a trial flaws you he wins. They said they are going to try to balance the fights as much as possible. You`re idea is good but with that being said if anyone Ogma is participating HP is forbidden for everybody that way.

I consider to not allow Holy P, we will see later how many people appear though.

HP forbidden against trials won't matter, trials can't poison a lvl 110 champ.

At 6:00 PM EST if only half the amount of participants show up will how long will we wait for giving those people a chance to come? It only makes sense if we wait some time but how long? Correct me if I'm mistaken but there was supposed to be a spar on September 23 which was cancelled because of the low amount of players which showed up. Is this spar tournament the same prizes as the one that was cancelled which were 1st: RoW, 2nd: Bunny Tail and 3rd: Farming Hat?

The last items were from my own pocket. 1st Prize is RoW, I dont know which will be for 2nd or 3rd though

Nuke won the spar tournement.

Saytar is on the second place and Nate won against HL for the 3rd place.

While there wasn't a huge turnout there was enough for a deep talented 8 man spar tournament with some very exciting spars. The most exciting being the finals being a best out of 3, coming down to the very last hit in the 3rd spar was pretty intense.

ha, i was at work and wasn't holy p'd, with no rows on. I was totally trying.
