Single Player Gambling - Tigbot

In order to gamble it was previously necessary to have two willing individuals. However, today we introduced a new way to gamble -- by yourself.

How Do I Start? Hop on a gambling table the same as before; just drop a cube/dice from your inventory onto one side of the table. Double click the opposite side to initiate Tigbot. Tigbot only accepts items from a specific list, but as a general rule any item without enchantments or blessings which is worth more than 10EC will work on the table. We will be continually updating this list so remember to explore your inventory.

Where Do All Of These Great Prizes Come From? Players who have lost. Because there is a minimum bet value only GOOD items go into Tigbot, but the most exciting part is that Tigbot has an active inventory, just like any player.

What Happens To My Lost Items? Your items go into Tigbot's inventory, just like playing a regular player. Every time another players loses you have the opportunity to win their item.

How Do I Get Something Special? Every week I will add a few special items into Tigbot's inventory. These items typically come from punished players or player auctions.

Tigbot will be continually improved. For example, at release Tigbot did not recognize enchantments. However, Tigbot now accepts any item which is at least +10. I'm sure you've got a few pieces of obsolete gear you'd be happy to risk.

Play Responsibly. Tigbot wins on draws. Tigbot's gambles are not displayed until you have committed to the gamble.

Will your restocking be at random times? Players should not be aware you are loading it up cause then they will go hard to get the items. It should appear randomly instead of requiring you to do so.

Yes, my restocks will be at random and may not be every 7 days (earlier or later).

Tigbot wins on draws. :( That sucks. I've seen so many draws when people bet against each other. lol

I was going to ask is there a limit to items the Tigbot has,but since Tigbot will have a higher win rate than players due to the tie = loss it probably wouldn't be an issue anyway.

But still, is there only certain number of items it has?

Since it is an inventory-based system it only has as many items as we put in it (or items collected by winning). Its upper limit is very high and unlikely to be reached.

Nuke_for_you 11-12-2012 05:15 AM

Yeah, wins on draw. Whats up with that? Why not re-roll like normal gambling table?

shrimps 11-12-2012 05:22 AM

House gets the advantage. lol

Where is this place?

There are currently two gambling tables available to the public on Graal Kingdoms, both of which are in the Bomboria trade room. As a reminder, a cube/dice is required to play.

This sounds really interesting, Thank you for another update. =D

Questions i have, will the spelling be fixed for saber tooth tigers? Right now it always says sabret tooth tiger "whatever part", also the leftover clutter on the bomy moon remains, the old cart track is still there, the old soccer ball was not taken out, and an old castle that seems to be unfinished too.

Should probably stay on topic~

Anyways, sounds fun. If only I had a coob :[

I just gambled a bit and won a pendant of ruin and this green dex helmet. After a relog both were unwielded and gone. What is this tigbot about? Could somebody explain this to me? I want the stuff i won back - logs will proof that I did. Seems like an error? >.<

@xXKajalXx you should be able to get your items returned, because this is a glitch and which means you should'n't have lose either of those items

These problems were fixed a few hours after they were reporting -- five days ago.

Lightdamage was just on a posting spree

According to the news article this update has caused GK to go from the most popular Gold server to Graal Online's most popular server, congrats!

Yes, it was a typing error which was (ofcourse) noticed AFTER it had been posted. We're waiting on Stefan to update the news... :(

Good work guys. Really nice addition. Should have it automated, though, that new items are added every ~3 losses by the tigbot. Instead of a ~a week of pathetic items, then a bunch of good ones, then more pathetic stuff.

Right now I am trying to figure out ways to feed tigbot from the pool of existing items rather than spawning or otherwise creating items as rewards. I'm 100% open to suggestions of that nature.

Odds are that we would not find much on a weekly basis... lol >_<

Tigbot now accepts piles of ECs, minimum quantity is ten.

NicoX 05-02-2013 04:59 PM

Hello,

you can now gamble 500 diamonds, 4 GKs and 5 ECs (instead of 10) to the Tigbot.

We also restocked it with some nice prizes.

Try your luck!

Todd45 05-02-2013 07:20 PM

We really need something that we can craft that is tigable. That gave me a reason to play the game and I was excited about it. Now, all everyone does is idle because no one can advance in gear or sales without some sort of incentive or something to work for.

He is right at this point. Nice addition with the GKs and ECs and Diamonds, but removing snowboots/thundersword is no good idea. Maybe bring up sonething like gamble-tickets that you can craft (different colors of tickets crafted with different mats), to tigbot and if you lose, the ticket gets removed (so that you don't win tickets, if you win). People will then mine again for let's say green ticket, or make waters of sapphire for blue ticket, or make water of ruby for red ticket, or stuff like that. Tigbot wouldn't get flooded with garbage then and you could control his inventory once a week/month to readd items or deleate items.
Was just an idea.

I really do like this idea. Then each ticket can equate to a level of item type of system. For instance, 5 EC's could be level 1, and a Demon stone could be level 4 or so. Some people just like to gamble with Tigbot and hope to get something else. I love using Tigbot, but it restricts me on what I can and cannot gamble. Newer players would love to use it (Other than not having a cube) and earn slightly better or worse gear, depending on if you win or lose.

Just an idea. I like the thought of it though.

I disagree, the reason I do is because the type of solution you're requesting will only bring more items into the economy. Also the craftable item isn't really hard to obtain basically all you need is iron and coal for and tigbottable item? Make's no sense. People idle not because they cannot advance in gear because they've improved their gear way to much? You have no idea how easy it is to obtain very good gear on GK now, they reached their ''incentive'' long ago they improve it during occasions since that's the only time expected where even better gear comes out. 30,30,30 is ridiculously easy to obtain.

That idea would be hard to implement that is of course if you take into consideration that basically nothing has a set price. It's up to the opposing player to how much he's willing to pay.

I agree with DripZ, it is not hard to get a decent set of items now. Gambling is just a bonus for people to risk their stuff and to get better stuff.

xXKajalXx 05-03-2013 08:37 AM

Ok dripz and nico you are right I guess. I didn't think of the economy at this point guys.

Todd45 05-03-2013 01:41 PM

I don't ever see anyone trade items anymore anyway on the tables. Why not at least make a lower item togbot too. I personally dont see anyway for a new person to progress without help from someone else. As for the tigbot system, I lost way more than gained. It was a nice time sync. Is there another system being put into place to help people feel progression or something I'm missing in a update for possible dungeons or monsters actually dropping random items or do we still have to rely on events for coins to win games of luck for possible better gear?

As of right now, there is an xmas dungeon that I do for exp, but I cant kill vamps and stuff and would love a way to progress. NO one really wants diamonds anymore or plat. If anyone has any insight on what I can do to actually progress, let me know because right now I just feel like waiting in trade for all the rich people to finally come down on prices on there list of items is absurd.

Sorry for the rant, and I really don't mean any of this to come off as a flame or negativity. I just want there to be another goal of the community besides collecting rares and hoarding them. Right now, its fun to level, but to level, I would need better gear and I'm just wondering if there is another way to do that. thanks!

What skill are you trying to level? And what level is it right now? Sounds like you're taking on vamps too early. Xmas dungeon isn't the only place to level..

You can craft some pretty decent gear now. There are 4 ring's similar to rof, rot, roc, ros.. plus armor you can craft. Decent shields. The helm and shield I wear 24/7 can be crafted even.

We are also working hard, and quickly to provide more updates. Not just item releases. We have some other stuff planned that should be finished soon.
