Making .exe for your server.
I know after you download graal and what not, you can make a quick link to what ever server you'd like and it connects right to it (assuming your log-in information is already there.)
Here is what I would like to accomplish. -Make a download online that downloads the graal client, and all the 'levels' files from your folder. (sprites, sounds, music, etc.) -When downloaded, it makes an icon on the desktop and when you hit it, it automatically logs you into your server as a guest. So there is no log-in required. I know it sounds kind of confusing but I was wondering if it were possible? |
No but you could package Graal and core server files (using NSIS) and create a shortcut for them.
|
Sure, but distributing Graal's binaries after modifying them (or at least packaging them differently) is going to be touchy legally. I'd bet Eurocenter isn't going to like you taking away traffic from other servers by skipping the serverlist.

You guys make an excellent point. But how do I go about having all my level, gani, sound files, etc downloaded right at the start of the server, so they don't download as you go.
