Server slow, HD errors

Over the past hour or two, the NPC-server on Era has frozen for a few seconds to a minute a couple of times.

Now RC is being spammed with these errors:

Server options appear blank. I can still load scripts, folder config, etc. though.

We've turned off the npc-server and made the server staff only for now.

This happened to us about forty minutes ago... Can't use the new OLE due to it saying we aren't staff... Ours have been wiped too. :[

On Graal Kingdoms people are being randomly reset. We are having similar problems. Accounts will need to be restored. I've taken GK off the list until we can get the server functioning normally again.

Confirmed on Atlantis, oh my.

Also the Server Options appear blank. NPC Server shut down and Staffonly till its fixxed...

Same issues on my private server as well.. so this seems to have spread throughout many of the servers.. public and private.

According to Stefan, it's fixed now. Server options are still blank on Era, minus staff=. Some of them reset, like staffguilds, the configured SQL databases, and the NPC-server nickname, while others are apparently still set, like jaillevels.

The HD errors appear to be resolved, but not the slow npcserver.

There server options have been restored: hosted/private servers to a few hours ago, classic and gold servers to a few weeks ago. Please check if the options are fine. We will add better protection for the server options in case there is a hard drive problems, right now only the player accounts and NPCs are protected.

Our (Stroseria) server options need to be restored... they were rolledback to around 2 months.

There is still no easy way for staff to backup a directory (and its subdirectories) from a Graal server.

my private server was back dated and the spam has now stopped.

Maloria's serveroptions are still blank aside from the staff list.

the real question is how long will this take because i cant log into anything except Shaded Legend. i think they are messing up all the servers so we have to go there

The serveroptions are screwed up again, they've seemingly reverted to a 2 year old version aside from the staff list that seems fine. Can you fix it again please?

Hm, that can't be. Ever since we went Classic a year ago and some time before that, there was a lot of "custom" information stored in serveroptions. I have a script that reads all of the following values, and they are all gone from serveroptions after the HD errors:

Well if there's no backup from the last year that includes my custom settings, is there at least a backup of the serverflags? With that, I could restore the serveroptions manually.

Normally the server flags were not reset by these things, were they deleted by an admin?

Only I have access. They were likely deleted by the script updating to non-existant values after the server was restarted since the serveroptions were blank.
