From the look of things, everything is still dead, communication between CJ and it's players is still severed, and there is nothing to be optimistic about!

Yep. If you want any kind of Classicisque gameplay you gotta go on the laggy FB client and get enough gralats to hop on iClassic. Otherwise have fun choosing between Zod or Era.

Not that you're wrong but even if there were something new to be optimistic about, the difference in time between the first 2 posts suggests the conclusion had already been reached.

Did something happen to UN? Did they actually shut down the last classic server available?

It really didn't take that long. I've been away for a couple months and there honestly weren't a lot of posts to look at. Also I checked some of the subforums out before logging in and deciding to post.

Is Classic still in the works?

Been drowning in its own piss (to put it lighly). Kevin recently got manager so let's see if it turns around. If anyone can do it that's left, it's him.

Yes, and it's had quite a lot of updates over the past few months, mainly the release of the Castle Dungeon, which rounds up the work towards questing while the server is under construction. The work that's left is little in comparison to what's been done throughout the entirety of the project.
