Killing people with cars is just complete nonsense. Instead we made it cause flames to appear on impact.

Setting people on fire with your prius isn't nonsense?

New flag: 'isonfire'. The player takes 0.5 damage over time for a random amount of time. Nobody is dumb enough to stand in fire to make being hit by said car worth running into them.

Not sure if you noticed, but this game isn't exactly realistic. I mean, let's be honest, if I actually shot you with a gun, you'd probably be on the ground dying. BUT NO, instead you can eat some donuts and continue on your killing spree.

80 damage car strike would be way cooler then the ****y wimp candle flame that pops up. most of the time you end up burning yourself for crashing in a wall. its more useless then it is usefull, if you want to make people happy just remove it.

you will die by your own flame or spend 30k on gas before you get a kill with the flames. unless you hire someone.

If you're pushing realism, then MSLink's right, even though he is just being a ***got troll.
But, in doing so, you'd also have to make it so hitting a wall at high speed kills you, and destroys your car.

u should make cars do 20dmg on impact..atleast ppl would buy cars

40 damage is where it's at. It's enough damage to dissuade people from running in front of your car just to troll you.

cars used to kill you on impact...it was really fun for the driver, but pretty lame for everyone else

nah Era is just retarded, that's why cars worked the way they did

make it so if you're in the car that crashes, your character is slowed down by 35% for a few seconds after he gets out (cuz now handicapped). applies to passenger aswell!

Little detail things like this in games are great, it's too bad that Era probably won't add it. Also, 50% chance of flying through windshield when driving into an object.

Cars also used to emit an explosion if two of them crashed into each other under certain circumstances. That was always fun, seeing two people ram each other and die on impact.

btw faster (aka more expensive) cars should do more damage, especially since they are more expensive and travel at a faster velocity.
