Graal Forums - Fishing and Mining!

Roleplaying on Valikorlia is an incredibly rewarding and fun experience, but sometimes you want to just sit back, enjoy the scenery, and catch yourself a fish or two!

Luckily for you, we have you covered. We have re-implemented not only fishing but mining as well, a fun and simple OOC (out-of-character) activity that you can do to relax and also to earn money to spend on both OOC and IC items!

You can grab a fishing pole for free above the Dragon's Belly Inn, and equip it from the Q menu. Then you can equip it and press S next to any body of water! Watch the top of the screen, and when you get a bit press S again quickly and see if you get a catch!

Once you've gotten a few fish, you can head to a shop and sell them for some sweet, sweet coinage! Now you're ready to buy a pickaxe and get yourself some precious metals. Head to the Redrock Mountains and you can buy yourself a brand-new mining implement.

Once you're inside the mine, look for sparking spots on the wall and wail away! You can keep mining as much as you like, but you may use up all the resources on a wall and have to move. Luckily, the mine is bursting at the seams and you will be a rich man in no time!

So now you're a bustling resource gatherer and your pockets keep ripping from all the gold you're stuffing in them? Well, that means it's time for some shopping!

Right now you can buy Pets at the shop, but in the future this will be extended to weapons and cosmetic items to use in Role-playing.

So come down to Valikorlia and get yourself a fishing rod and pickaxe and start gathering, just like the movie stars do!
