Suggestions for Events

I am looking for some suggestions for different events that the EMs can host. Any ideas are welcome so please share your thoughts. What are some events that you all would like to see even if there isn't a prize involved. Let us know your thoughts so we can do the best we can to make it happen.

Zodiac has some pretty fun events. Sumo could probably be done on GK.

Really?
When did this happen XD

I coulda sworn i posted in this thread.. Guess not.

Racing events (**** kart race that **** is broken). I'm talking usain bolt **** like the stuff on zodiac.

Like googi said: sumo would be boss.

I think the event shop items are either rly rly garbage (see: necro armor, girdle of damage) or retardedly overpowered (dragon mail, archers). Having a more balanced set of items in there would go a rly long way. Drag is priced right @ 150 ec per stat gain but archers are like 17 ec per stat. Personally i only play events to get ec n buy big items so putting more stronk **** in there would help out a lot

Also **** samurai

My suggestion, although it would have to be for bigger-scale events, is an auction-type event. Once the event is announced and everyone warps in, everyone is alloted a certain amount of points (eg 50,000) the EM puts down an item in a box similar to raffle, and everyone bids depending on how many points they have left (command could be 'bid 30000' for a bid of 30,000 points for example) the highest bidder wins the item, and in case of a draw, the faster one of the two would get it (as in same bids would say something along the lines of 'someone has already bet that amount, please bet higher') The EM would not announce how many items would be up for bidding, nor which items would be put up, so if someone really wants that first EC thats put up, he can bid all his points on it, but the next item might be better and he would have no points left to bid on it, if you have points left over at the end, too bad, you shoulda bet higher. Don't know how hard this would be to script, but its a suggestion nonetheless

it shouldn't be hard. i like this idea a lot. the amount is debatable. also how the auction will be conducted, such that it's offered like the raffle. but with a count down and a visible auction posting. like a "silent auction" in North Eastern America. great event idea.

I think you should work on upgrading the current events, every single event (besides lucky altars) could be upgraded.

It'd be nice if Kart Race had more tracks, and an automatic starting option after the item is placed on the prize box.

Musical chairs could be fixed so that the extremely fast trial glitch is removed, and perhaps change the level it's in so that blocking isn't possible.

Waterglass could have more maps.

Soccer / Hockey are both really fun events. If there was a more proper team control situation these could be played often.

Labyrinth could be fixed.

Bomboria Spar and Bog spar both have serious problems with spectating; anyone watching any fight can /cast heal and ruin a quality battle instantly. There should be better arenas for fair fights. Hotaru Spar being a positive example, it'd be nice if Magic spars were allowed here. (with casting only allowed while in the combat zone)

All events could have a "leave" option that would send you back to Bomboria.

I think having the monster spawn tool having a whole new range of things to spawn such as dice, cannons, boats, all sorts of things would REALLY give a huge new range of possibilities.

For new event ideas? I've thought of how a CTF system could work on Graal Kingdoms for quite a while, I think it'd be interesting to see a relatively large field (the size of the island center of main, perhaps) with bases and small power ups. In this event all damage and speed should be nerfed or buffed depending on the player. I can picture every player varying from 1.75-2.25 speed, and during holding the flag you'd be at most 1.5 speed. It'd give spells like Create Earth Wall and the such a really neat use.

Random powerups being dropped in the center and random areas of the map, spawning very slowly, such as speed increase, huge to very negative resistance buffs, could pick up a power-up that changes your weapon into a angel blade gov+11 26/26 for 60 seconds. I think it'd really give new players a feel for more elite gaming.

An Events Master could perhaps set up a 8 vs 8 team for first to 3 scores and add members as the game progresses if need be.

Nearly every server has had their own very successful CTF event, I think GK could master it.
