Selected Players in Internal V5 Playerlist

I've been working on a certain custom playerlist right click entry, which works absolutely fine in V6, however when testing the internal V5 playerlist it appears the global variable selectedlistplayers doesn't work.

Is there something I'm missing?
If not, it might be good to fix this considering the internal V5 playerlist is scripted rather than built in to the client.
In the mean time, to retrieve a selected player's account name I'm resorting to the rather hackish method of:

I'm aware I could just use PlayerList_List.getselectedtext() and loop through all players to compare their nick, but that seems excessive.

Hint: Don't bother developing for v5 and force Classic players to use v6.

While I personally use V6, and am not overly bothered with the appearance of the playerlist for example, some players old and new still claim to have bad experiences with it.

Nor am I aware of any new features of such calibre that I am desperate to implement them, whereas the support of UDP offered by V5 is of importance to a traditional sword combat server. Therefore I don't believe a forced usage of V6 would be of significant benefit to the server.
