disablepause() and enablefeatures not working properly
I've been having some difficulty getting the disablepause() or enablefeatures() commands to properly eliminate the ability to pause for players.
First of all, is disablepause() clientside? I was told it was... Secondly, I've tried enablefeatures(allfeatures-4-2-0x200); (Trying to disable weapon menu and 'p') but it doesn't seem to work. If someone could point me in the right direction, that'd be greatly appreciated. I will let you also know it is being called by a joined NPC in a level. If you guys need any other info on how I'm trying to implement it, just ask :) |
Disblable pause is clientside.
Have you tried calling enablefeatures without going between a class? It might be something weird in the npc. Or you might have another script that is canceling the effects of your script here. Check your weapons and level npcs to make sure nothings overwriting enablefeatures. Also make sure you're doing it clientside. |
Oh you know what, you just brought something to mind!
I believe one of our systems controlling our Player GUI might be affecting enablefeatures. I'll take a quick look. Thanks for the fast reply by the way! |
Stick to just one weapon script that calls enablefeatures and showstats and you won't have any conflict issues.

I found it! Someone left a random call in an old script... Very poorly implemented even. All fixed though. Gotta say, had me pulling my hair out for a few days! Looked through way more lines of code than I wanted to spend my evenings doing.
