Token Spawn Rate

Lowered?

Just wondering.. as Fr0 and I are getting about 1 token about every 3 instances cleared..

It was not this bad earlier.

Felix_Xenophobe 01-05-2012 02:28 PM

ya 2 hours grinding and +20 tokens..

MajinDragon 01-05-2012 09:50 PM

I feared something like this would happen. We're given two weeks but only the most committed farmers benefit, and benefit big, I haven't even been able to get the regular items from the shop so those magical boxes are way beyond me now.

NicoX 01-05-2012 10:00 PM

Lol. Not suprised really.

I hear you. I finally collected about 250 coins.. And I've been playing a lot. I don't know how some people have so many. But I'm right there with you, Maj.

I agree, I'm going to talk to Tig about this when he gets back on. I didn't know he was going to lower the spawn rate so much. It's basically impossible now for anyone to steal Felix's spot on the leaderboards, and a lot harder for people with less time to get items.

Felix_Xenophobe 01-05-2012 11:56 PM

Impossible for me to break 3k >:

Let the tokens stay forever and keep their spawn rate as they used to be.

Whats the worst thing that could happen? Lots of items?

I don't see that as a bad thing honestly. More items gives new people something to work for too. Right now most of the good stuff is unobtainable and it makes it discouraging to even play the game knowing that.

agreed. playercount will fall like crap again until next christmas, after taking off the tokens + craftable items.

Because graal is like a TCG now? It's not like they removed EXP/Leveling.. theres still alot of things to do.. People are just lazy. I see people who wanna 107 mental. But they dont want to make torches, they dont want to collect rubies, they dont want to do anything but the minimal they have to to be 110/107.. =/

They just need to fix/redo the pub quests. Since it's the only quest system and lacks =/

Care to elaborate?

I play graal to hook other players in. I see all to many times noob's ask for item's and when no one responds they log off.. But I have been helping them and I think I have created monsters. They play more then I do now.. wtf? how is this..

I can see you guys are selfish..

Token spawn rate is fine. They will only last a few days. And clean you levels of all drops.. ALL drops.. Make sure you wait 10 seconds after you kill everything to make sure you don't miss anything. Tokens delay dropping onto the floor sometimes.

NicoX 01-06-2012 09:17 PM

I agree. I am helping noobs too. Giving them basic gear from my house and plats GKs and so on. The newbs are the future of Graal Kingdoms since all the other players dont care about the Game really. Just idling and chatting. GK turned into a big chat room. Damn its like Habbo Hotel or how the **** was called lol.
Atleast make some easy quests for newbs and improve the tutorial. After Xmas the playercount will go back to 3 again. So whatever.

Dragon551 01-06-2012 09:55 PM

Didn't Tig already raise it last night? :oo:

there's still Easter coming up, and not to say that there won't be some normal updates and large events to look forward to.

along with the dungeon staying open as a permanent source of quality exp, I don't see any reason for the player-count to ever get below 20 on a normal day. Unholy Nation holds 40-50 a day easily and there I'd say there's more to do on Graal Kingdom's than Unholy Nation. (we were holding 15-20 a day before Christmas)

Charity on games is pointless. If you can't do it all mostly by yourself, then you can't be helped. All a noob needs is a good tutorial, a good brain and some starter gear. We have the tutorial and FAQ's, we could probably do more to improve starter gear, but most are lacking in brains.

Not everyone plays for the same reasons you do. It's surprisingly callous of you to segregate new players into lower classes.

Indeed. Be nice to the noobs, and they will stay longer. I notice that a rather large number of players play because other people there friends with play.. now if a noob considered the dude that hooked them up to be a friend. they will play every day. Don't believe me? See how many people go "hey script" when I logon now? ;)
