Christmas Dungeons dead
 
Christmas Dungeon is not working again, we are all stuck, I don't want to risk unstucking, last time I did that I couldn't log on for 3 hours.

EDIT: Reconnecting kicked me back to Bomboria, but the dungeons still don't work.

Yes, they have to be added to gmaps=, and once it hits a certain number, new GMAPs aren't loaded. The levels are still copied but they show up as single levels. Lots of other problems come with this.

Somebody just needs to remove the temporary GMAPs from gmaps= and then restart the NPC-server.

bump. It broke again, and people who tried "unstucking" or joining a warper can't log on until fix!

Yes will work on this, although I don't understand why it cannot just re-use older unused gmaps (as long as it's not randomly generating levels) ?

We will be doing this soon, but it's more of a temporary solution. This is still a problem that needs fixing in case we do decide to randomly generate dungeons in the future.

We have an instance system which makes it very easy for us to created instanced dungeons. However, it does not automatically reuse levels because doing that requires a bit more overhead. It would be much simpler if we could just dynamically add or remove gmaps as we need them (which is what the system was originally created to do).

Understandable. Plus you would have people spamming bullet walls or lightning walls and proceeding to the next map and as people come in behind they could be killed.. =/

EDIT: Monsters are broken, they wont move, and the dungeons have no monsters inside them!

I've noticed that a few monsters will spawn on the walls, and the crack opening CAN spawn on the walls, it's happend to me 4 times now.

Most annoying thing is when vamp guards spawn on walls and are out of avatar range. Enjoy 5 mins of shooting arrows
