I think it would be awesome if we could send items to other players by mail, as well as COD stuff as a method of trading with players who aren't online at the same time as you.


(COD = Cash On Delivery; you send someone an item, they send you back money or they can't claim the item from their mailbox.)

u have a lot of good ideas, it's a pity there's no staff member who can be bothered work on them

Speaking of mail, the post office job where you transfer mail to different locations, it only gives you what... 6 dollars max per? While the car one gives you up to 50 or more.

They must make money based on commission or tips.

Hachi made something like this a while back. It was ridiculously insecure, like most of his scripts, so I wouldn't let him put it on the server. However, it's not a bad idea.

I like the idea of doing trades by mail, it would allow players in different timezones or with hectic schedules to trade more easily (not having to be on at the same time). Coupled with the new advertisement system you could make full out trades in minutes and not have to sit online for hours massing or waiting for a player to come on.

If I recall, mailboxes (at one time) could handle money data or something of the sort with the old mall; if you logged out or went into observer mode and sold an item, the money would be delivered to your mailbox.
So I don't see why it couldn't be done.

I've proposed this before, they replied with something stupid like "no just go itemtrade, it's the same thing" (was probably some time when chris had dev admin)

I love the idea, though don't see the point of it that much either since you usually only trade when youre both online, much easier.
