Breast Cancer Support

1 Attachment(s)
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

In support of this, the Holiday shop has opened up!
Head to the Breast Cancer Support Shop (Tap on Map > Shops > Other > It's located in the water)

ffcmike 10-10-2011 09:36 PM

It's nice to see a shop that doesn't contain recolours.

salesman 10-11-2011 12:29 AM

does any money actually get donated anywhere?

maximus_asinus 10-11-2011 01:01 AM

unless players donate direct to a charity, then no.

smirt362 10-11-2011 05:16 AM

First the 9/11 shop and now this.

Era is a weird place

fowlplay4 10-11-2011 06:21 AM

Remember smirt, girls just want to have fun~

papajchris 10-11-2011 04:05 PM

Unixmad should donate some of proceeds but I doubt that will happen.

WanDaMan 10-11-2011 04:36 PM

It's been announced that next week there will be an LGBT market stand.

Crono 10-11-2011 05:36 PM

should add ramadan, players cannot eat or drink to regen for one month

Emera 10-11-2011 05:49 PM

I think it is a good idea to support and remember these kinds of events, as it makes iPhone players aware of what is actually going on outside of the iPhone world, and also teach them the purpose of what the events stand for. Rep +

Wouldn't handing out the items for free so people could show them off bring more awareness? You think it's right that they feed off of people's want to help others? Why not make a Make-A-Wish Foundation shop? To the normal person, one would assume some of the proceeds would go to the actual foundation.

I like most of the ideas on Era, but not this one.

Emera 10-11-2011 06:53 PM

Handing out items for free would make the idea even better, and going through a lot more effort that just a shop would be nice too. Maybe even setting up a Paypal account so people could donate to the appeal and make a difference would also be nice, but at least they put the effort in. I agree with what you are saying though.

The prices show '$1' so they're practically free.

There's tons of registered charities people can donate to.

Graal staff shouldn't be expected to hold any kind of event or make content for every random charity and cause that seem to come up every month.
