Graal recording upgrade

Could we make it just alittle better and more user friendly with the MBs

AVI would give you good quality but if you record more then two seconds with it , it will give you a 50+ MB file that we dont need.

Only thing I could use is wmv and I had to find a program to convert it to a AVI to work right....

Upgrade ?

Every video recording software creates quite big files unless you want really crappy quality. Downsizing it is something you should always do with a program that keeps the quality of the video.

It's usually because AVI is an easy format to write to and you can encode it in real time with as little impact on performance as possible. If it were to not encode it in realtime, your videos would be restricted to how much free RAM you have available, and when you're done recording, you'd have to watch a progress bar go up to 100% as it encodes the video.
