A few tiles I have bin messing around with, please tell me what you think.

The transitions between grass, and so forth stand out in a bad way, particularly because they seem to get much brighter for no reason.

Hmm I see, Well like I said, just messing don't know where to go with these atm. :cool:

Sorta looks like tiles I've seen before, cept zoomed out o.o;....

Dunno tho. I agree @ the grass transitioning being to outlined.

What would you suggest, best to create a transition is?

Less bold outlining.

Try making it look like grass everywhere instead of just the outline? and then you can just change it a little bit to represent gradual change to another shade.

If you look at it zoomed out, it looks like army camouflage.
