Flipcoin

You have all heard of bet sparring, and the casino. Well players decided to create a new type of risky money makes ways. Flipping Coins!!! Who wouldv'e some command (/flipcoin) would really come in handy in making money? Well the players decide to bet a certain amount of money OR items, and also choose heads or tails. The one who doesnt choose usually gets to flip the coin, or gets to pick another friend to flip the coin for them. Some players have made HUGE profits.
-Rouge Dracono made a profit of 24k.
-GF KoHo made a profit of 14k

This new risky way of making money has gotten pretty serious, but now players can easily bet on money without any real skill! I tried it once, and lost. But it was fun doing so. I hope you all enjoy this new "player way" of making money.
;)

Which is why its called risky way of making money,

I am curious though, it appears you have it logged but do the winnings automatically transfer to the winner? I'm assuming not after what Dub said.

DuBsTeRmAn 07-25-2011 06:39 PM

There isnt really a system for it.. Its just a /flipcoin command that randomly picks heads or tails..

Though ive had a message from our PR Chief that we will not be watching these bets.

Yeah, I won a SMGPK and Tre wouldn't pay (despite Duffe being there on PR tag). Nich said it was silly and he wouldn't enforce it.

Haven't seen any bets since.

bloodykiller 07-26-2011 01:37 PM

only a retard would bet money with /flipcoin, watch out for future gambling problems

WillaWonka 07-26-2011 11:05 PM

Tre needs to stop betting, for his sake.

Why?
What separates this from betsparring? -As in your role-
Just seems like this gives our PRs more to do than hang around on working tag playing with their mediocre tools.

Don't worry I went through the whole thing already.

He proceeded to tell me he wouldn't enforce a bet (Despite having an active PR witness) because the PR wasn't ASKED to watch the bet.

While at the same time, he said (And I Quote) "PR's won't watch the bets because this betting is silly and doesn't involve skill like Bet Sparring."

This leaves me in a conundrum.

Venom_Fish 07-28-2011 01:40 AM

Uh, I'm confused as well.
A PR's role in watching a bet spar isn't for the "spar" part, its for the "bet" part.
Their only job is to make sure the stated terms are met and items are transferred when alls said and done.

In relation, this really seems very similar.
Players state an item and the conditions are a coin flip.
All you need to do is stand there and watch for results and make sure everything is transferred and etc.

The roles are identical, lol.
