Please make a gelat shop

Please implement a gelat shop on Unholy nation even if it is a simple ep pack/gralat pack. This way you can have observer mode removed. Unholy nation is the closest style server to classic iPhone, in terms of being casual and not about getting good weapons or gaining levels to succeed. Unholy nation could easily become the top server on the serverlist if they do this.

I'm sorry but they're not competent enough to do so. Feel free to prove me wrong though UN.

We could probably get it done if we had a manager who played graal.

What do you mean by 'playing graal' but yes I agree that Absolut_Crono is one of the worst managers ever.

I don't support this idea, the game loses its identity if we implement a gelat shop like so. If we could pay real money for ep? Forget it, people would have no incentive to play events, spar, etc. The richest people on the server would probably be the richest people in real life as well. They would run the server, and all of those who got where they are by hard work would be furious.

The EP thing is a bad idea, but implementing a gelat shop in an effort to get observer mode removed isn't.

Observer mode should just be removed from Graal entirely regardless of a gelat shop presence. It's one of the stupidest decisions they ever made.

Just have a gelat shop to buy UN money? iPhone graal does this and it brings in the money. Then you can either take the expensive short way out and pay irl money or just do it the normal long way like how it is currently. This method wouldn't be so bad... right?

I used to be against f2p games because their cash shops inbalanced the game, but then I realized players sell gold/game money for money on paypal anyway, so there really isn't any game where you can't "buy your way to victory". This doesn't seem like a problem at all on UN, but with increasing players it might. Maybe make the cash shop similar to the global cards with certain effects, though I don't know if that is enough for Stefan. Era and zodiac both have items you can sell to others for $$$/gold,zone has guns that are only avalible to purchasers, and the iPhone servers have purchaseable gralats. also fowlplay on Zodiac you can purchase many exp potions and sell them to others for money, its just not as direct.

I bascally agree with Fowlplay.

I mean he doesn't log in, pretty much ever.

Also, honestly all we would need for a gelat shop to work would be to put a few hats up for sale. Take them out and add new ones every few weeks. I've had people try to buy my hat tickets for $20 real money in the past. :p

skillmaster19 05-28-2011 05:20 AM

People would still sell the hats for gralats/ep,thus resulting similar to a ep trade, unless you make these hats untrable.

ffcmike 05-28-2011 05:29 AM

I highly doubt this will happen but I think it's important that there's an effort to ensure each server is using a gelat shop to only sell items that are unique to that server.
Lets take mainfile/common hats for example, can we really expect people to be willing to pay multiple times with each different server for the exact same thing?
Or what if one server is selling hats that another server is enabling people to wear for free?
If not an effort such as this, perhaps these types of items should have some type of global attachment to the player.

This was being worked on while I worked at UN...quite honestly, I think it was until Crono became manager.
After that, it just seems everything took a turn for the worse...hm.

Starfire2001 05-28-2011 02:49 PM

Yah it's been coming soon for about 9 months now.

And the worst part is the PWAs won't do anything about it.

MysticX2X 05-29-2011 05:47 PM

PWA's love UN.

SlikRick 05-29-2011 09:23 PM

While I was working on UN, C was actually working on creating a Gelat Shop for UN to help get observer removed. But that was a month ago since I worked there so don't know if it is still being plugged away on.
