The Eeriness of Idling
 

GK is like a ghost town with the new Bomboria Trade idling decree.

Me and Felix were on this morning with 15 other people, that all happened to be inanimate and in Bomboria Trade. It was creepy!

On another note:
I think it would be awesome to add this non-disconnect to playerhouses. I would love to go to sleep and go idle in my house. Wake up and sail to main. Adds some sense of roleplay for me.

Would be nice if Tig could add a "Sleeping" status to F7, the little icon for it could be a couple of Z's of something....

15 people idling all in the same spot... Makes me miss N-Pulse.

I haven't logged off since I could Idle 24/7. I like it because I get messages people send me when they log off. I'm on for a total of like 2.5 hours throughout the day. The other time I spend hanging out with friends, trolling facebook or my all time favorite; choking the chicken. I think all servers should take the initiative to do this. I randomly check in every like 30-45 minutes and if something cool is going on I'll go participate which I wouldn't even waste the time if I had to log in and connect to the server every 20 minutes.

They just added Idling on GK? LOL I thought it was actually improved somehow and more players joined.

I can't imagine it being that useful but... if you make it I'll do it... lol.

Idling in playerhouses should definitely be implimented. I don't even leave GK on to idle in mainhouse, it's wierd to me now.

I remember back when GK first came out and people wanted to have logged-off players replaced by sleeping NPCs, and then everyone realized there would be like 300 NPCs in Bomboria.

Mk, The status has been uploaded and has been added to the player list ^-^!!!!!
Please use it if your going to sleep irl or away from the keyboard for a long period of time :P which would be "sleeping" in game.
Just common respect for players so when they see the status set to sleeping; they know they wont get a answer back from you for a long period of time. :P

The sleeping status could be useful for me. Over the last couple of days I've had a look at the playercount and thought that's a decent ammount of people online so I'll host an event, and only 4 people turn up because everyone else was idle. At least now I'll be able to get an idea of how many people are actually online.

I'll do you one better. Now the listicon is called Idling instead of Sleeping, and now it will automatically switch your playerlist status into Idling if you're standing still long enough to where you'd normally be disconnected. Now you really know for sure when someone is AFK ;)

Note: This feature only works on v6.

How about a Blessing status? :D

I'm sure we could use a simple golden cross image for that.

Would be some what easy to make o.0 Could whip one up really quick if y'all want...
Question is though; couldn't you just package praying under idling?

Idling sort of covers:
-Sleeping
-Idling
-Eating
-Gaming on another game
-Any Real life activity

Yeah you need to not get disconnect on altars.

Do you know what resize is?

To be honest I would rather make a new image rather than resize one if it's in bitmap since it'll get ****ed up in the process.

This is the internet, nobody cares about your feelings... hell half of us would probably willingly watch you hang yourself on webcam. The internet is a brutal place and it's not something to be trifled with.

I just gave out my first negative reputation point ever. Who's proud of me? btw left my name for clarification. Back on topic, we also need to be able to idle on alters. I know it's already been said I'm just reiterating it.

And i agree; that would be a terrific addition to the server :)
