Were diamond prices set to NPC for 250 plats each for a reason? Or was it just a suggestion to people in hopes of putting a stop to high costs?

Same with EC, just a week ago i sold a few at 100 diamonds each, now people are just competing for them and playing the "i bid higher than you" game all over again.

If the demand for EC's is high, then the price rises unless more come into the economy. More are always entering, but there are people trading big items for big EC's, so EC's are always good to have now.

EC's are what people trade with. If EC's rise, GK's rise, EC items rise.

This is a misconception i see alot, adjusting the sales price of diamonds to 250 plat (up from 4 plat) adds a minimum value on diamonds and can't in anyway lower the maximum value of diamonds infact it should increase the trading price as it offers more options. It did however help people to realise diamonds were not worth 500 plat each and all we actually had was a "diamond bubble"
