Graal Forums - Poll and Tutorial?

Hey everyone,

I'd like to make make a gani tutorial that I promised my self I would make to help people weeks ago to put on my site http://davidkgraal.blogspot.com/ with my other tutorials.

Now, I'm wondering if I should even bother doing it. My site links to the Graal Bible tutorial, and then would have my tutorial editing by textfile.

Since I work on a Mac, and cannot use, and would rather not use Graal Shop, I'd like to make the tutorials creating a gani via text. "starting with an original gani because using (Save As) seems to make it a textfile rather than a gani file"

I would basically show how to make one, and people would learn from that.. HOWEVER, there would be no point in doing this, unless someone were to constantly upload it via RC to make sure the locations are correct, or "I just thought of this" renamed idle.gani to idle1.gani, and seeing it each time you save it.

This tutorials would only be useful to people with RC, and very useful to people with RC and Macs seeing they have no other way.

I'd like someone to name a gani they would like created, and I will only do one and if it is fairly simple. Up to 10 motions? I don't know..

I'd make the graphic if I had to, and I'd really like to start at the beginning of the gani.. I've had a LOT of trouble working from text, and I'd like to figure out all the kinks.. For instance, I use to think the numbers not being aligned made the gani fail but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore.. Sometimes it just fails anyway x.x;; Ganis as text are odd creations lol..

Also, without seeing Graal shop, and without looking at an image.. it may be hard to pick out which body parts to use x.x; I have use another computer to fix up most of the body ganis, and then used textfiles to place the graphic going inside, and the speed of the ganis.. Again, I'd like to only use textfile, and I guess look at the body image. I'm not saying this is going to be easier. but could be semi-helpful to others.

1. Is it worth it? Would it help anyone here?
2. What type of gani would you like to see in the Tutorial?

I'd like to state the starting X, and Y's of each pose, what each line of the text file means, and how you would edit it.

Also, if you want to throw in a simple script to stick in there, I could try an learn that. I only found out scripts could be in ganis about two weeks ago.

No arguing on the thread, and if there must be, it should only be directed towards me; play nice. ;]

P.S. I do make long posts, and someone has asked me nicely to highlight important things; I hope it helps. ^.^
I do suggest reading more than the red..

Also, don't state PC's are better. Macs are good at a lot of things, Graal happens to not be one of them.
