Story-Line

Prolouge-
Millions of years ago, a strange star fell from the heavens. A dark green emerald flew with speed that scatered light as far as the eye could see. It blitzed its way towards the center of the land they call Emera. The sky flew ablaze as it drilled it's way into the surface. As is gradually grinded to a halt, a dark green mist emerged from withing the impact crater, and it flew across the land. It is said, that on that very night, all the villagers within a hundered miles, had nightmares...


-Characters story
You grew up on a farm village on a hilltop with only you and your parents. You lived there for many years, not stopping to think once of the wonders beyond your farm gate. One day, as your father returned to his dutys as a guard at the castle, you hear of a thick green mist approaching the land. Your father never returned from his dutys at the castle. You wondered for many years what had happened to your poor father, until one day, your mother sat down with you at the dinner table, and told you everything. You sought revenge, the horror and the agony that filled your mind that day drove you to seek this green mist, and purge the land of emera of it...

What we hope to accomplish

I am hoping that, with skilled and dedicated staff, we can produce a playerworld with a questing system, this will keep the players "on their toes" and draw in as many players as we possible can. I also hope to produce something of a zodiac server, but with a tweak. More freedom of choice, quests and an advanced leveling system.

What have we got already?

We have already on Emera made one of our kingdoms GMAPS, as we hope to have two of them. (Emera and Tempest)
We need to make much more headway on the scripting of the systems and the story-line.

Why two threads?

I wish you the best of luck, though I don't think another generic WoW-lite server is going to be groundbreaking. Hopefully you can come up with something both entertaining and original as you proceed further to help make your world and your goals unique.

Thanks for your opinion Cloven, and i agree graal wouldn't benefit from another WoW but infact i am combining UN and Zod together. I hope all goes well. And soala, read both threads you will see why.

I did read them both, everything could fit in one.

Ok guys, i am in real need of a LAT. I am learning LAT myself but its just not up to the standard a PW demands so, if you are interested, just copy and paste the hiring thread into a PM and put ((LAT)) at the bottom.

I disagree, so far I don't see any WoW like servers, and obviously WoW is doing a great job.. if there were one on Graal I can't see how it wouldn't do a good job.. I don't think any NATs around here could do something like it, or withing a few years for that matter.. It would be a LOT of work.

I think that people should be inspired by an idea before making a server. They shouldn't make a server then try to improvise ideas as they write their hiring thread.

Bad idea.. actually most people who buy servers are inspired greatly by things that will never happen. :]

But why not fix it up to make it better while hiring? Perhaps other peoples can spruce up the server idea.. either way usually the final results don't happen.. D:

Some people give up in 1-2 months.. Some people try for years and still don't get very far... :x
