It's called "Era iPhone" not "Some other server that's kinda like Era iPhone"

The point of the server is making an iPhone like replica of Era.

It could be much, much worse.

As someone who doesn't play either Era, I don't give a damn about the content of the updates.


But really, does there need to be a new thread for every minuscule addition? Just have an "ERA IPHONE UPDATES" thread, this is pathetic. And as "someone who doesn't play either Era", I don't want to see three "Era iPhone -"'s when I hit new posts.

I agree. My post was more to point out the stupidity (for lack of a better word) of complaining incessantly about these threads ("I honestly can't tell you how much it bugs me")—they're not that annoying, are they?

So what if I do raise the point as often as I do, in this particular instance it makes it all the more funny that somebody is complaining about iEra copying PC Era.

Cuz in the appstore it says 9+ on Era and for Classic it says 4+, and all the kids are too young

I was shocked when I found out that Classic has more players than Era, but I think the reason why is because Classic iPhone is more casual, and Era is a little mroe hardcore. The majority of players on Classic iPhone who I ask why they don't like Era iPhone say something around the lines of "I hate that you have to pay $1000 a week for the potion to enjoy the game, I can't get anywhere without dieing and going to the hospital." I personally do not like the idea of the potions, I think if players just respawned on the spot without the potion and it was announced on Classic, Era would gain many more players. A few people just don't like the idea of guns, some wanted to stay on Classic to support their guilds. Other people just like all of the customization options.(You get more heads and hats on classic than on Era with the customization pack for free, and there is much more for sale.)

In summary, the best way to improve the playercount would be to release a bunch of hats,add some kind of beginners protection(goes away if you hurt someone) (or better yet, remove the potion/hospital), and give new players a better tutorial.

I will not stand here and believe that you just said that to increase the playercount you add more hats.

The players of Classic iPhone detest the prices of hats and wish for them to be removed. If you want more players, make hats cost 100-500g. Then players will swarm to the server because of cheap prices.

I think it has more to do with the investment that the players have made on Classic. Whether it be inventory, statistics, or money, to play Era would be to start all over again.

Era iPhone is anything but hardcore, lol.
