nice, but the sound is broken. Also if you start mining a rock then abandon it then you cant remine it and you have to find another spot. How many levels are there? I imagine stefan would want it limited so people cant make a lot of money.

Sound is working fine? I don't have any problems with it. New areas are opening up shortly

Sometimes scripts work on the computer but not on the idevices. The drills are supposed to make noise right? I tried relogging and it didnt work :( also is there a mining level cap? what is it? Anyways awesome update been looking forward to it for weeks and it was better than i expected :)

There is no cap now, but the rocks needed to level up are quite high, I think when it takes 5 seconds to make a rock will be the limit :)

awww don't cap it I wanna be able to make 50k an hour like some people on PC can lol.

one of the admins told me that there would be guns that you can "blend" with materials for more powerful guns

Yeah an admin told me that too. It was originally going to be be the purpose of mining.

release with no content on purpose and just update w/ existing things to give players the illusion of updates etc ^_^

We are releasing weapon improvements today / tomorrow which works along side mining. IN YOUR FACE CRONO!!

no i meant releasing era without any features then slowly adding "new" content (you know, stuff thats already there on pc era) giving the players the illusion that you guys are hard at work releasing "new" material~

ois, it is all new scripting, ganis etc the only thing thats the same is the gfx =[

Woodcutting possible in the future? Shouldn't be that hard, just edit the mining systems?

Mining is actually pretty good, if possible could you open up another mine or two? As the current ones are pretty crowded with players.

In a few days there will not be as many miners.

LOL, mining level doesn't make a difference, they tricked us into thinking it does. Me(LVL 4) and someone else (LVL2) raced and we both had the button down the whole time. We started and finished within a 0.5 second difference. It either makes no difference or such a small difference that it doesn't matter.

Or copy the Woodcutting system from Era?
Shouldn't be that hard, you did it for everything else.

Yea generally for wall mining there isn't a large difference. On actual Era it is a larger difference for TNT mining and the levels go up to 100+ on some players, with worker potions that leads to insane mining.

Figured Andrew would scale down the leveling/effectiveness being that using an I-Device doesn't allow for endless grinding without raping the battery, or for customized macro systems!

I will play Era iPhone once you release TNT bombs that can be placed around the overworld, don't go off unless the player who placed them hits them with a bullet, and, upon going off, ignites other bombs placed by the same player in the area.

Once this happens, I will purchase 1000 of these TNT bombs, buying gralat packs when needed, and place them all around the map. Then there shall be a huge day of the dead where I ignite them and send a chain reaction around the map killing anyone in site. Then I will be the ruler of the game, because all players will be in the hospital, and with 400 players in only a few hospital levels, they will all lag so much that they won't even be able to get on their clients.

Tell that to Olympic 100m sprinters.

too bad mining is 10x slower on iphone and it takes 1750 rocks to reach level 6. (it took like 450 for level 5)

I dont think here is any difference at all, I think I started first and ended first by the same amount of time.

In my opinion, mining feels like the alternative to PC mining.

It's fun and all, but PC mining is much more fun. Why? The bigger screen, easier controls, etc. But the systems are virtually the same..I just think that somehow mining should be different on iPhone than on PC.

I think that if you attempt to make the server an exact replica of PC, which seems to be what you've been aiming for, then it will simply be the "alternative" to PC Graal, meaning I see no reason to play it with PC Graal right here.

I like the concept of mining, but I think it should have been approached differently. There has to be a way of mining that is more fun than just pressing the button over and over again. (And you have the whole touch screen available to do whatever you want.)

With iPhone you can play while out somewhere/ while in a car, and it doesn't cost about $3 a month to play.

That's not the point.

The developers need to find a special form of gameplay that is suitable for the iPhone, not the PC. So far everything else on the server, especially the cars, have worked out very nicely. You just need to find a way to make mining more suitable for iPhones.

The mining system does depend on your level- message me in game I'll show you. I will make a video if you want. o_o

I'll say this one last time- the systems on iEra are totally different to Era PC.
