I may be alone here, but I figured I'd put this idea forth.
Personally, although I find forum pm's to be useful for leaving someone a reminder, or making sure someone hears you when they get back online, it isn't the most convenient form of instant chat.

Maybe, sometime in the future, a chat system might be nice? Like a bar at the bottom of the screen, mimicking what facebook and many other social sites have. If that's a possibility, that is.

Well then why don't they make a Graal IM or something? Just saying, it could be useful.

Yes but it'd also be nice to have a fast form of communication that doesn't require getting on client every time you want to talk to someone.
People go on client more to play than to talk...at least that's how I see it.
That and some people rarely go on client anymore, or have pm's off when they are on. It'd just be a bit more convenient as I see it.

It's just pointless; we already have AIM, MSN, XMPP, Y! and countless other IM services in the world that you can use to communicate with your favourite Graalian peers.

Eh I wouldn't go that far. Afterall, we do have blogs and social profiles. If it would be easy to implement then I don't see why not, otherwise no. :fro:

That's what I was thinking. I mean, depending on how the website was made, most already have a chat system made for them, you just have to add it in.

But personally I wouldn't really support this. I do know what you're talking about, but if you're too lazy to double-click the graal icon on your screen, I really hope you can do something with yourself later on in life.

Well the problem for me is that I'm really laggy, to even get Graal to run relatively good I usually have to close everything else out, it gets rather annoying.

It's a nice idea, but I don't think I'd be able to sleep if we did this!
