Macro Abuse(r's)
 

If you don't know what a macro is, ignore this thread.


Quite alot of players are resorting to macros! Mining and stockin' are the main ones. So, I've designed a plan

A pop up will pop up on your screen if you're suspected.
If you don't respond to the pop up within 3 minutes you'll be d/c'd from Era. If this occours more than 3 times within a day. (that you don't respond to the pop up)
you will be automatically jailed.

The pop up will quote you four random numbers (1234 for example) which you must input in the pop up.
If you get it wrong more than once, you'll be d/c'd and the same above follows

I can make it so the four random numbers are not highlightable, so you can't copy/paste them :}

What are your thoughts on this?

They could, most likely, still be read from memory. The process of doing so could also be automated. Do something about it! :redface:

So uhh, Then I have to run 2 macros to type the numbers as well as do the task... that would make me lag D:

how can i prevent this!!

They'd rename the function in memory that does the 'macro check' or even serverwarp before they would resort to that which would make them a lot easier to catch.

I don't think I've ever ran into someone who cared that much to do that though.
