Update: Hotkeys
 

We've released hotkeys on Era. To setup your keys, click the wrench icon in the top-left corner of the screen (for options), then click "Hotkeys" (under "Language"). You can then specify three guns to hotkey (the keys "Z", "X", and "C").

Yup. I got a QWERTZ keyboard (German one), so I have y, x and c as the first three on the last row. Which means one of those wouldn't be quite as useful for me.

Not exactly necessary, but cool nonetheless. Keep the updates coming Chris.

not to mention with how popular ventrilo is these days, it's really inconvenient since keys in that general area are popular for push to talk, and with this system it automatically cancels out the use of those 3 keys for vent.

I use caps lock for push to talk. And I've edited my registry to remap my caps lock button so it doesn't cause RANDOM YELLING TEXT.

I use caps lock too, sans regedit because I LIKE RANDOM YELLING TEXT.

In all seriousness though, being able to change the hotkeys would be pretty sweet.

Would be nice if you could have melee weapons added to hotkeys like bamboo or lightsabre.

Not a bad idea, but then you give door lamers/blockers less time to whip out a gun after they lower you when you enter a gang base.

I still don't know why the SD Cannon doesn't show up on the hotkey selections? Z.z

Over-the-wall weapons can't be hotkeyed.

It would be very lame too be able too use a very fast gun close, then run away and switch too a AC or SD in no time and blast the enemy.
