Myself blinking on screen
 

Morning,

I've had a really strange bug for the last 2 days on UnholyNation. Last time I logged, a month ago, I didn't have that bug. My toon is blinking/flashing and some people just can't see me at all.

Here's what I tried :

- Reconnecting
- Restarting my computer
- Reinstalling the game
- Unchecking "Use filename cache"
- Unchecking "Lights" "Weather" and "Particles"
- /fix me
- /unstick me
- Jailed and released
- Changing outfit

I am NOT blinking on Era or Zodiac.

Nothing worked. I'm giving the other players a seizure with all that blinking. Anyone has anymore suggestion on how to fix this?

I'd suggest contacting a staff member of Unholy Nation to look into your account strings/weapons a bit closer.

Thank you, will do so! I did but the person whom I asked from probably didn't check correctly.

I'd ask a scripter instead of a GP. Or ask a GP to contact a scripter. A GP or admin looking through your flags probably won't be able to catch what is causing the blinking unless they're familiar with it.

I'd do it but they still have yet to fix my IP Range there ;/

Last time I had a problem on UN (shield constantly defaulting back to shield1), I was told be the dev admin that "there are too many strings/weapons for us to load/edit them via rc without messing you up even more"


I feel lied to!

They're not supposed to set flags via RC anymore. Some people have long flags(like their hats) and using RC will crop it down to 256 characters, resulting in a loss of data.

Blame it on the GS1, they might as well just take an inventory of your weapons and a copy of your strings and reset your account then re-add them.

Well, they had to reset me, it was attr variables or something like that! They fixed it tho, thanks to Gamerkid and Alex =)

Lol usually what happens if you ask anyone besides Gamerkid.. and Alex is cool too, everyone else.. Ha.
