Here are a few levels I've been working on for Bravo Online! Enjoy

fowlplay4 07-06-2010 07:14 PM

Looks pretty basic, I miss that in levels these days. Nice work.

I love those castle tiles.

Here I thought I was being unique when I decided to play with them for the zorbi levels I've been working on.

Crono 07-06-2010 09:55 PM

eh, i think you're over-using the shallow water. overall its ok for "old style", wanna see more ;]

DustyPorViva 07-06-2010 09:57 PM

Could have at least taken some pictures in-game instead of editor :P

Also, one thing that bothers me about those castle tiles are how the bottoms are diagonal and the tops are sharp corners. It seems inconsistent, yet is done all the time.

One thing I might suggest for those stone path tiles, is that instead of using alternating color swaps, instead just change the color of the "pebbles." Like so:

It's a bit more subtle, yet accomplishes the same effect, than what you're currently doing. I wouldn't use my colors, though, as they were just picked somewhat randomly so the effect is pretty strong.

You would help yourself if you used Gonstruct imo.

MysticX2X 07-07-2010 04:58 PM

Looking good, Wan!

LordOfPi13 07-11-2010 08:24 PM

Agreed @ Crono, I really like the old feel to it.

WanDaMan 07-11-2010 08:44 PM

Thanks for the constructive criticism!

Cubical 07-12-2010 02:51 PM

Looking great as always wan.

LordOfPi13 07-13-2010 08:15 AM

My first job on Graal was Guild Admin during the first time Bravo Online was ever re-released. Post-Andor, Bravo was re-released because everyone got nostalgic and decided that they would like to re-replace Andor with Bravo again. What, you don't remember this? Well some people probably might. We made bodies of signs and other random objects so that you could be a sign person walking around. Unoriginal, I know, but it's where I got my start and practice for development.

I learned how RC worked because I sat there and added hundreds of people to the guild database. It was a lame job, but in those days people actually played Graal. We had fun. We even brought Peangrazio's over to Bravo.

What, you don't remember Peangrazio's?

This is actually a really good idea. A bit of a bump, but I just wanted to say as I'm impressed.

scooter123 08-21-2010 10:27 PM

Looks good Andrew, ugh what's your nickname on Graal?

N01ze 08-29-2010 05:53 PM

Our server looks like a frickin swamp because we have some noob LATs who think that putting layer after layer of grass makes it detailed and cool. =.=

xAndrewx 08-29-2010 06:05 PM

cool o-o

My name is usually snk or Unknown, but I'm always on Bravo don't usually go anywhere else.
