Look at how easy the old old graal website was. Now it's a maze to find support or other tasks

I agree with you there.

Fulg0reSama 06-18-2010 09:27 PM

It's as simple as a blog. Damn.

cbk1994 06-18-2010 09:48 PM

I wouldn't want this as the website permanently, but it would definitely be a step up from the casino site targeted for 6 year olds we have now :p.

ugly yet helpful

it actually looked better than that, I think some of the formatting is messed up.

I don't think the background was white. It was like an off-white. But by the time it loaded, i already screen printed, so im not surprised if many some other things are off

DustyPorViva 06-19-2010 06:33 AM

Old site was green, I'm pretty sure :)

papajchris 06-19-2010 06:43 AM

im not talking about the previous version. This version is from 1999 i think?

Ya... I'm talking about that version, too.

papajchris 06-19-2010 06:54 AM

the 1998 version was green, so maybe this one is suppose to then too. Maybe it was just slowly loading

Edit: This is the 2000 version, the 1999 version was green.

WayBackMachine simply doesn't manage to save all images/files. That's probably what happened, is all.

Even if that didn't happen chances are that's a VERY early version of the website. The layer ones like you've mentioned are practically the same but with a green background.

Link654654 06-19-2010 05:50 PM

Looks like it was so much easier. I hate the new layout.

Dark_Zeratul101 06-19-2010 06:48 PM

I like it.

Hiro 06-19-2010 07:24 PM

we all know old graal was simpler, more effective, and brought in more players. stefan and unixmad know this okay: they just don't seem to care about it, at all

adam 06-20-2010 02:06 AM

I went and looked up old versions of the site too.
Talk about feeling nostalgic. It was amazin.

Inverness 06-20-2010 04:33 AM

I liked the site that was in use back around when I first found Graal, it was the one before the GK-themed one. Lots of green.

Me too bro.

Jiroxys7 07-05-2010 06:03 AM

I remember the green site. I absolutely loved it. Then it changed to this and got all convoluted and confusing. Like I said on the other site, it took me like 30 minutes to find the page to upgrade the first time i went there. And it took a loooong while to actually familiarize myself enough to not get lost on the site.

Actually, there was someone who said they were making a new site for graal to use. I'm guessing theyve stopped?

Kamaeru 07-10-2010 07:26 PM

I remember a version of the Graal website before it was green. It was a light yellow background or something of the sort whenever I first discovered Graal. Not the same as this one in the picture, but the same format and very similar.

The best version of the website came along with Graal2001, and I liked it mostly of all because it had important updates everyday. The first time I really checked it out there were updates about the Celtic kingdom being destroyed, new Bomy pets being released, and the release of "Instruments" such as the saxophone, mandolin, ocarina, etc. along with neat pictures of people playing these instruments in and outside the shop. There was also an events ticker on the official website where a member of the original Events Team could go inside the Admin House and post information on events being held directly to the main page of the Graal website (nifty, huh?). Having played the original free version of Graal previously to seeing this site, I was SOLD and my prime directive was beyond any doubt to find a way to upgrade my account in order to play this game. And I was NOT dissappointed. I still consider Graal2001 to be one of the best games I've ever played.

Alure1316 08-03-2010 08:13 AM

I remember the intro with the exploding bomb.
The first time I visited the site it looked sort of like that, but there was a green background and each link had a Graal image next to it. Like a chest, an arrow, etc.
