Era Iphone

I saw a few days when i was on RC a server "Era Iphone" :0
Don't you think it will divide people from classic iphone and reduce people online in it:cry:. We're usually 1K online and it may decrease with this release :/

I wish we could link the 2 servers :D...

Well PMs will still work cross-server, and it could also increase the global iPhone playercount if it does get finished and released.

Judging by statsGraal the server has been there for awhile.

Era iPhone isn't being directly right now. It will wait until at least the time when Era resets and all the glitches of that reset are worked out and we have a bit more time for side development.

And I don't see any reason it would take away from Classic iPhone. Ideally it will attract new players to Graal iPhone, which would likely benefit Classic iPhone.

ok yes in that way it will attract new players i meant people who play on Classic iphone may leave for era iphone. It will be the iphone community sure, but in 2 servers.
The server is not recent so there isn't a release date yet ?

I highly doubt everyone on Classic iPhone will leave for Era iPhone (though I hope they do). They're two completely different server styles. That's like everyone leaving Runescape because a new Call of Duty is released.

Hopefully it gets renewed publicity/attention upon release. If it was released as a new app no doubt many sites would include it in their regular updates on new apps, not sure as many people take an interest in "updates" or at least there is as big a focus on updates.

It'd be a shame as they'd be completely different styles of gaming that would indeed no doubt attract new iPlayers! Perhaps they could release it as a new app that connects straight to Era with the option in each app to switch between the two, but not sure whether that'd be best or within Apple rules.

Era iPhone will give Classic iPhone some challenge. ;)

I don't know how well you're going to able to dodge or shoot back at people if you can't see them from more than a few tiles away on the 320x480 iPhone screen.

Would make more sense on the iPhone 4.

It works pretty well right now, actually (sparring PC players).
