Graal Website (again)

I'll speak out loud for the community.

The graal website needs to be redone or again, turned back just like it used to be in V4, it was more user friendly and you were more guided on it.

As for the current site, it's out of date, it is still advertising the graal skills, thing that does not exist anymore/was removed lately. In addition it is advertising two servers about to die (Zone, GK). This is not a good first impression on the game, new players want to try Zone, see no players then uninstal the game.

Anyways, I hope this post will be taken seriously, since the idea was said before and it was highly approved by the graal community.

This is sad, they wont make business if they cannot keep their new players.

Welcome to what we've been saying for over 10 years.

The V4 page is kinda still there: http://graalonline.com/kingdoms/

I don't really care much for the graphics of the site, but the navigation isn't consistent at all, and some links are dead, outdated information as well.

They become players when they play the actual game, not when they visit the website for the first time.

So if anything the website should be geared toward getting them on the actual game as quickly as possible. A nice big "Download Client and Play Now" button would be ideal for this.

The community could be doing better things though, considering there's no guarantee that they'll even upload it over what they have let alone even look at it.

He might have been playing Graal before. Just not created a forum account.

A lot of people cannot even find the place to download graal. When I'm on the iPhone server I have seen a player asking another player where to download is. I always just goto the v4 page to download it but that is just because I'm familiar with it. Every person who visits the site is a potential player. However if you can't even find the link to download the game every person who visits the site is just taking up bandwidth.

The design and organization of the website sucks, but it's not that difficult to figure out where to download the client. You go to the website and you see four different 'games' to 'try'. Once you click one of those, there's a pretty large "Click here to download..." image.

Unfortunately, the website is so ugly up front that no one is going to be hooked into looking around long enough to find out how to play.
