A warning for trading between multiple accounts

Alright guys, over the past couple days people keep trying to use multiple accounts to coerce players into buying an item off their alt. This means be careful when trading when an offer sounds to good and you have to make multiple trades to acquire an item. Here is how it works so everyone knows

Player 1 we will call Chris Vimes which is the guy that's trying to get the item
Player 2 we will call Stefan
  • Chris Vimes logs on his main account and on his alt account then tells Stefan that he would trade his Lightsabre an Osiris Minigun.
  • Stefan masses out that he is buying an Osiris Minigun.
  • Chris Vimes logs onto his alternate account and pms Stefan that he will sell him his for 200k.
  • Stefan trades Chris Vimes's alternative account 200k for the Osiris Minigun
  • Chris Vimes then refuses to trade his Lightsabre to Stefan

If you are making multiple trades to acquire an item please give the PR details about said trade and ask them to watch to make sure this doesn't happen. There are multiple people attempting to do this on era and now it's on the players shoulders to use proper judgement and use proper safety techniques when doing trades between multiple accounts.

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Whose who? Why would the victim be massing? Why would they sell it for dirt cheap because someone told them to? Why log off or have to refuse if u bought it fairly?

I don't understand...

pffft I used to do that all the time

sorry anyone who got scammed by me, but if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is...

Clarification: Just because someone says they're going to buy your item doesn't mean they will, nor does it mean they have to. Staff won't reverse trades just because you weren't careful in ensuring you didn't overpay for something.
