Favorite Server List

In addition to the Gold, Classic, and Hosted lists, I think players should be able to create a favorites list of servers. While it's not particularly useful for servers on those lists, it is useful for development servers.

This has been suggested in the past i remember, don't think it was worth it though. I still support this though.

This would be great. I'd also like to add that the list should remember which tabs you have collapsed and/or expanded...otherwise what's the point of being able to collapse them?

adam 05-15-2010 12:46 AM

This is essential.

Ugh, there is a search function you know.

The search function is great and all but it does get annoying to have to type in the server name every time you want to go onto it.

I'd like to add that dusty's suggestion is nice but he goes at it the wrong way considering that you shouldn't have to collapse the server list rather I would make it so you could make it like the file browser in RC (Not exactly) but to add a folder or a category to like prioritize the servers you go to in one and ones you visit perhaps or just make it so you can entirely edit the list instead.

Dude, I was referring to the thread, not the idea itself.

We have a search function because not all of the available servers are listed. Naturally not everyone is so keen on typing in the server time every damn time they want to connect to a server that isn't listed, especially when they use it all the time.

That's what collapsing is. The ability to close groups of servers(folders). Graal already does it, but it doesn't remember what you have collapsed so it's pretty pointless.

Like I said, I was referring to the thread.. not the idea.

There was already a thread about this is what I'm trying to say.
