Enable/Disable Emoticons

It would be nice to have an option to enable/disable emoticons used in PM's.
Just recently I was spammed with ":cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:" which caused my Graal to freeze.

Brb, spamming people with crying smileys.

I was amazed to find that actually worked.... I just tested it :p.

disabling HTML removes them I think?

Tigairius 12-21-2009 03:15 AM

Would be nice to have, yes. I support this.

Crono 12-21-2009 09:12 AM

Just pmed myself a giant wall of  and it didn't crash. I am disappoint.

Luda 12-21-2009 09:20 AM

You fail at failing.

Hiro 12-21-2009 10:06 AM

you can do this without the emotions and crash anyone's graal too. send someone 5 million PMs in 10 seconds and you bet that it will crash

Luda 12-21-2009 10:07 AM

I'd suggest a time limit for each PM, like 5-10 seconds but that would get kind of annoying and give you that trial account feel.

VERY loosely related, but I felt like a trial on the Forums earlier.

5-10 is, yes, but I'm sure a second would be fine.

I pmed 270 to myself and the graal client is running fine without any lag at all. It doesn't show any signs of crashing in my system monitor and is still running very low in processes. I wonder what the problem could be, but an enable/disable would be helpful.

Lmao, the CPU monitor taking 20 percent is why I don't use GNOME or KDE.

I don't care much because it's still relatively low compared to my computer running Windows Xp.
