Whats the point.

Ok, why in the world did staff take away the "unstuck me", ive said that on graal from day one. Its very annoying that I cant get warped to unstick me anymore by saying unstuck me. Id like staff to put this back on there.

So what are you guys opinions?

DuBsTeRmAn 12-19-2009 01:08 AM

Changing the U > I aint that hard is it? XD

Old_Days 12-19-2009 01:23 AM

For me it is, its actually way beyond just word unstuck me itself. Its the fact that staff have to **** with things thing dont need ****ing with.

So do you just find reasons to complain or are you actually trying to accomplish something.

cbk1994 12-19-2009 01:53 AM

You can use "unstick me" :).

I AGREE TOO!
I got damn mad when I got the stupid message "Try Unstick Me"...

Unstuck me is a tradition, it is faster because you use only 8 Letters with "Unstuck Me", while that blasted "Unstick Me" got 9!

Bring back Unstuck me! !pissed!

Id like staff to re-add the unstuck me code back.

Its annoying having to switch from saying unstuck me for a few years to say unstick me.

Also if your going to prosecute everyone for having an opinion about something, then you need to look up the definition of "forums".

kthxbye

Your probably the smart one who decided to screw with it anyways.

Did I also mention that there are people on the roof of the seashell shop that cant get off. better fix that too. Cant have that now can we?

I'm pointing out the obvious fact that you only seem to complain, without providing any constructive solutions. You complain, it's all you do. Complaining only fixes so much, why don't you come up with solutions for a change or is that beyond your mental capacity.

...what?

Immolate 12-19-2009 02:37 AM

Why are you complaining over something so trivial? Something that shouldn't be needed for non-debug purposes anyway, especially in a commercial game.

That's funny, since both are actually 10 characters long.

By God, you ARE a genius >_>

Even funnier, since both are actually only 9 letters.
Man, we have a regular Einstein trying to correct Sir Isaac Newton.
(SARCASM) You're both not smart. <- Had to point that out, just incase... y'know.

Fulg0reSama 12-19-2009 02:43 AM

Seriously sir did you forget to spell? Unstick me
Unstuck me

Check ur letter count again. it is 9 for both

maximus_asinus 12-19-2009 02:46 AM

He meant "unstuck me" uses 'U' twice, where "unstick me" uses an 'I'.

You must be retarded, do I really need to explain what the solution need to be for this problem?

Normal people would usually catch my drift by now, but since you dont, then ill explain it.

Ok, instead of being limited on saying unstuck me, make unstuck me able to be said again.

Ok did I go to fast? Please notify me if I did.

cbk1994 12-19-2009 02:51 AM

It sure seems like you're complaining just to complain, OD. There's no reason to reverse the unstuck me change.

After several years of unstuck me, I guarantee you'll get used to unstick me in a few days.

Old_Days 12-19-2009 02:51 AM

This is why I love making threads like this, it causes so much rift-raft.

Venom_Fish 12-19-2009 02:53 AM

Actually, removing unstuck me wasn't really a "necessary" or "useful" act either. You had to have known someone would complain, sometimes you have to leave things around to avoid trivial complaints. It really didn't harm anyone having two options. Nor does it having one, so what was the point of removing it in the first place?

Which poses a question of whats the point of re-adding it?

Well, I'll answer that to shut him the hell up.

It sure seems like you're changing just to change, Chris Vimes. There's no reason to change the unstuck me altering.

After several years of unstuck me, I guarantee I wont get used to unstick me in a few days.

That Chris, is called ownage.

Immolate 12-19-2009 02:56 AM

Actually, in terms of typing, it's 10 characters. Include the space, retards, since that requires time to press aswell.

Let's please note that anyone not familar with ASCII codes, space has a integer value and is not NULL, which you suggest.

Thankyou.

Well, it was idiotic of you to correct a statement using an entirely different base in the correction. He stated letters (8), spacebar is not a letter. You stated characters (10). I re-stated letters (9)... all in-all, you were the oddball. Rather than using a coding language, just use the language we're all posting in, which is english. Please.

This stuff is stupider than my original topic on this thread, why arent you whining at them chris?

Maybe I should have said they're both the same length to avoid your pedantic nitpicking. Simply put, you tried to insult me on the assumption I was wrong, when I was clearly not - I was just using a different unit of measurement. Same as how people measure in miles, but kilometres are the standard way of measuring distance.

Coding language? Since when has ASCII been a coding language?

Let me explain:

ASCII is a standard way of representing text on computers. Not really a coding langauge really. Not even a language, at all.

Venom_Fish 12-19-2009 03:15 AM

I'm not a computer-savvy kind of guy. My point: You don't enter a argument about apples, by saying plums are better. Just because they're both fruit. You should've used the same unit of measurement, would've better proved your point and save you the trouble of looking like a fool, quite a few times.

Not really. Converting to the standard unit of measurement is always necessary. Keeping standards IS necessary.

I really can't see how you'd fair in a position of power if you can't really acknowledge the importance of standards.

cbk1994 12-19-2009 03:24 AM

Enough fighting over one letter. You can use unstick me, or just walk.
