I am having an issue with the level generator. It's not making the levels for my file. I'll just upload it and save my crumby explanation.
Thanks!

any way to do that in Paint? Or do I Have to download Paint Shop Pro?

I've always done it by saving .gifs in photoshop...not sure how paint handles .gifs and .pngs though.

GIF-files is always 256 colors so, yes, saving a png in paint should work.

you could also download Infranview, which does transparency's and will be able to decrease the color depth

I've had issues with paint and saving GIFs, for me they tend to leave a checkered pattern of different colors.

Which is due to the poor method of "color reduction". Should work with the colors the map generator needs though.

It should work with a .png image, and the colors are really easy to get.
But still, I remember having to use a .gif when the image wouldn't work to generate the map. It sometimes work with a .png.

Here's a reminder of the colors:

I don't think MSPaint saves color reduced PNGs, which are needed in this case I believe.

It does not.
