Should it have been put up? Suddenly everything I learned sparring with the level1 shield has become lost. It'll take me awhile to get used to fighting with the liz shield...I hate it because now it's who's faster. Level1 shield was all SKILL.

It makes sparring more fun.

Not really, now everyone is sparring in HUGE circles. Before it was close contact which involved skill. Everyone is running around the whole sparring room just to fight.

Oh, boo hoo. Just because you enjoyed put-putting around Graal all the time doesn't mean anyone else did. And really, it takes just a much skill to spar with a Lizard shield, if not more --- after all, you're dealing with a much faster opponent.

For getting around yes the liz shield is good. But for sparring it sux0rs. 80% of the ppl changed their sparring style. For sparring it sucks, for other use it's good.

That's because it no longer takes 5 minutes just to get across the arena. :rolleyes:

No, before it was close contact sparring. Now it looks like we're on Classic where everyone is doing huge circles around the sparring ring when sparring.

Better for me. That's the only place I ever sparred. :p

Sparring is nicer if it's big.. I don't like most spar rooms like Godspeeds. They're too small.

im finding it harder to kill, im used to turning differently, but i dont turn aswell you need different skills for the liz shield, so i find it hard!! :(

People who like it big tend to try to circle around you or cut you off which can be easily capitalized on.

I love it.. I'm so used to that speed.. now my fighting has become godlike.. BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA :D

I hated the slow speed because it wasn't based on skill.. it was harder to hit people because no one lagged.. now the fast end modem users get sweet revenge since we know you're lagged and can run out in front and swing before you get there. :p

I don't see how the skill level involved would change.. Everyone still goes the same speed basically.. it's just faster.. I'm used to the fast action.. more exciting ;)

In my opinion the Graal sparring was always about
good running techniques so that you hit the
opponent while he is using the sword in a different
direction

also it only increases speed by 20%

Yes they need it... it was very long and boaring to walk from one side of the world to the other...
Becides Graal 2001 is not ALL SPARING/PKing like Classic was so its not that big of a deal changeing the shields
