The problem is mainly a time problem,
its a lot of work to find the maker of the hats,
open their accounts, add hat items.

Creators of stuff for G2K1 should get royalties on all sales in shops. It surely wouldn't be too hard to store an account name with the item in the shop, and then transfer a little money across to it on every sale. And even though I don't play G2K1, everyone should pay me 10 gralat for Metris :)
