Mount Antora in 3D.
 

Little project of mine. I have Bryce 4 and I'm interested in getting better at it so I'm working on it a little bit at a time. So I cooked up this image.

Here it is.

It's incomplete and basically what I think Mt. Antora would look like. I plan on, over the course of the next few weeks, adding in a lot more. Like the ruins of the Celt Castle, or maybe the entire thing before it blew up, the skiing fields, Zalactic Labs...I'll probably make a new one that has a bit of a flatter summit, though. I might even add in the cave into the Iron Mines and the red-tree woods. :) It's a very simple image, yes, but I can also improve it alot. Comments, criticism?

You should make a waterfall with a bomy skimmy up it. That would be cool to see in 3d. :)

I'd love to do that only I can't make a Bomy in Bryce4. Too complicated for me. Waterfalls...That'll take time and practice. I'll ask Gonmon about a bomy though...

unfortunately you can only get the demo, the retail version is expensive, i got mine from a friend he is excellent at it

I just got Blender, it SUCKS

The demo is a huge file. I downloaded it at Angelstar's house since she has a cable modem. It is too confusing for me.

I have Bryce 4 Retail. :) I need some addons though, hehe.

Once you get the hang of it, it's simple (rendering sucks if you have a slow computer) like if you want to make some cool water, flip a mountain over and add the water texture(s)

From what I know, Bryce is a great program. But, I don't have the time to download it...er..money to buy it. ;)

Yes, Bryce is excellent for 3d things, so is Poser (mostly for making people).

I made a rendered bomy using Genesis 3d.

Rhino3d is a really good 3d program too

Point One: Mt. Antora is basically a giant rock sticking up out of the ground. And i mean a GIANT rock... therefore, it's not gonna look like a normal mountain... ;)

Point Two: I don't have a 3D generator program. That was while I was on Vacation.... :(
