The Fort Idea...

1 Attachment(s)
Well heres an idea I posted in the other forum that I feel should be brought up. Its a fort idea. Their could be maybe 2 forts in locations. 1 in Antora which I will show you a ROUGH draft of what im working on and one along the mts. of Bogenera. In each fort is a small npc on the throne. Whenever someone with a guild/kingdom tag touches it they take control over the castle. Everyone with that tag on can access the castles goodies (ex. cannons, nukes, traps, fireballs, maybe some sort of spear thing :P, etc.) Once the person who touched the npc to gain control dies or leaves the castle that guild/kingdom loses control and the next to touch is gains the control back. Its basically a fort like in old war times in which they can take control to grow in strength. It may help roleplaying grow a bit again.

Well, Give me some comments...

oh by the way heres the rough draft of the snow fort...Im working on a MUCH better one and I know someone who could help me...

Something VERY similar to that is on Classic, except it's not snow.

It would be good, but it's just not going to happen with the same thing on Classic.

But this could be different...
I know I could change it...

Yes, but it's a much more primitive form of the idea on classic.... All you get is your guild name on a flag; and you're automatically healed. That is, until the opposing guild kills one NPC that doesn't fight back.

I like the idea... but the fort needs to be made MUCH better than that... honestly, that's pretty small and simple

That idea kinda sucks, you need to add more detail and give the players more to do.

konidias 09-08-2001 12:08 PM

It sounds like a good idea, but I agree with everyone else, it needs lots of features and things for players to do.. Maybe the defending players could set traps and things like an npc based on the railroad npc.. You could place secret traps around the area which the invaders would get caught in. =)

Silver Knight 09-08-2001 12:18 PM

Traps, and npc guards would be needed. No player is going to spend half the day sitting in the entrance to a fort, defending it from other players.

Konidias read your pm.
