Something about Bomy Pets
 

I get annoyed when my bomy is sleep walking he does it most of the time!

Heres the problem...
Bomys fall asleep when you leave the level, not when you go offline, shouldn't it stay awake if your anywhere on graal and not in the same level as the bomy? And that damn ZzZz stays when you come to your bomy from just getting online or leaving the level....Also I think bomy pets should have a better AI. Don't you agree?

Too many sleeping bomys, and yes, too many bomys that have a set phrase they keep saying. When you remain idle, whatever you say stays on the screen and it's annoying

Best way to have a bomy not have a set phrase is have a playernear AND an ownernear...

bomys, tsk tsk, babylon will have something better...

If bomies stayed awake when the owner left the level the lag on graal would be even worse.. it's bad enough going on a level with sleeping bomies let alone bomies that are awake :(

I personally hate the sleeping bomy stuff.

But, yeah. The lag does get pretty bad at times.

thats my favorite type of bomy, the Visio (other than Naifets, which I wont ever get :()

I think one of the only bomys not to change owners is Lycias, not sure, maybe there are others..

Scale1 will never change owners from now on

I would have kept my nephi but Cloud Strife offered me 8,000 gralat, I bought 3 more bomys, then sold them for 2x the price that I bought them for. Then I bough a couple for my friends, gave some to new people. Bought some stuff gave them to new people, etc.

Waiko never had any owner other than me.

what should be done is when a bomy is inactive for 3weeks that means
1.) no walking
2.)no being called by bomy o bomy
3.)no co-owners playing with it

it should be given back to stefan and auctioneed immediatly....who agrees

I don't like it either but there is no good solution. It is true, it is unbalanced that people who never play keep bomys lying around for their pleasure. But what can be done?

some bomys (like golg 0 or whatever) walk constantly and never sleep? I enter a level with no one in it, and it is walking, and i don't even co-own it..

LOL! Then I would make a "Ghetto" bomy! It would pull out a 40oz. for a slash and it would do drive bye's lol

I hate how people use the word "Ghetto", considering it references to the crowded, poor conditions and housing of Jewish people before, during, and after World War II.

Better Bomy AI-Stimulus response
Just make it remember its last action. If it gets hit, odds of repeating that action go down. If it gets a treat, odds of repeating go up. Actions happen at random.
Bomy attacks another player, Bomy gets backhanded by the owner, Bomy learns that's a bad thing to do. Bomy dances, Bomy gets a scooby snack, Bomy learns dances are gewd.

Jewish temporary housing is just one of the things the word ghetto refers to. So, I don't see how it's wrong to use a word that happens to have more than one definition.
