canbepushed, templates
canbepushed/canbepulled - I think these would be a lot cooler if they went in one-pixel increments instead of one-tile like the push and pull blocks...
I also still think it would be spiffy if we could send in more default NPCs like the Fung Si Yan NPC template Stefan made...so like, a Door, and poof it's there, it works and people stop asking me how to make one... a shopkeeper... a push/pull block that resets itself... cool stuff like that. ^_^ |

While that may work in theory, in practice they just ask me. It's amazing, people ask me how to make a horse. Or set a midi. They can't be arsed to read ANYTHING.

It's sort of possible to make your own slow push/pull withouth having to script a whole complex script for it, you can use "actionpush" and "actionpull", in those #p(0) is always the push/pull direction... I'm just not sure how often one of those actions is automattically sent while pushing.

Yes there will be a new npc panel in some
future version, where it just looks for script files in a folder levels/npcs or so and makes it possible to just drag&drop it onto the level, may be with supporting stuff like this.speed = edit.Speed; and it will automatically display a text box where you can enter the speed and will replace all occurances of edit.Speed by the entered number before the npc is created |
There was something similar made by Bruges
but I guess its not getting too popular if its not built-in |
Stefan, will you host my sig?
