Scripting Help
wuts da script for a horse race? i cant get it to work properly!
i tried to do da start/finish thingy but it wont work properly!:o :grrr: im sooo fustrated!:grrr: :grrr: :grrr: |
well if your going to do it with x and y coordinates and like sometrhing that lets them be able to move once they say start it would be easy but ive never really seen a horse race how do u want it to be it sounds easy
|
hmmmm
Im guessing if you use an image for the checkpoint thing, it would be easier than just scripting if you make it drawunderplayer or whatever, and if playertouchsme do this.check+=1, so If the go over the halfway checkpoint itll count.

of if you wnt to make it easy make some flags and make a like finish line and say if player touches mee and has a hose and like race some kind of flag thats set once its started then it will do bla wont be hard at all but horse race dosent make sence all horses go the exact same speed cant make them go faster so unless lots of weird stuff its pointless

If you're wanting an actual GOOD racetrack... well, this is only my opinion, but these would make a good one: 1- A weapon firable on a horse which temporarily increases your horses stamina to 5. Limited uses, but recharges slowly. 2- A finish line using server. strings and playerx/playery in |v1,v2| to judge 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 3- Including a time variable in the finish line of course. Yes, it is a bit like the horse track on Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time... but it wasn't exactly a vital or overly played. |
Why dont we just kill the horses and repair more ATMs to make motor bikes? I know there isn't gas and gunpowder, but I think we could use the semi-nuclear stuff and make a giant trojan horse that will blow up every bush in graal on the hour, and those in the way, well, dont forget to write.
-Rebel95 this is sane, but Some people might not think so, This would be a neat idea |
How about lets not kill the horses, hmm? I like my lil orange chocobobo! :megaeek:
