Durnit Stefan
(Clops)
I've asked Stefan quite a few times about this, but he never responds to this one. When you fight players or compus, if the tip of your sword touches them it counts as a hit. When you fight npc soldiers you have to practically be walking into them for them to take a hit from your sword. This make it very difficult to use them as standard enemies on a server. I'm a decent sparrer, but half the time I fight an npc (unless the speed is set down a ton) I either hit it at an exact distance from me or my swings go right through it and it kicks my arse. It's so wrong. x_x |

You could rescript the enemies to use triggeraction to hit them? *shrugs* :spam: |

trigger action? for a sword swing?
I'm not that great at scripting, I just wish he would make npc characters have the same hit detection from a sword as compus and players do, npc characters don't get hit by a sword half the time they should be |
why dont you make a brand new weapon that goes further and only works on blah and such get the script from the trident will help you alot
|
The Trident script? Excuse me while I go puke.:megaeek:

But besides all of that...it was good  |
Shutup, Kyle and Ace made the Trident. The scripting was fine, just everything else stunk...

*looks at Cyanide and pukes more*
Don't make me have to use Kyle's shotgun on you... Gah, I have bad memories of that weapon... they'd use it and be five feet away from you, since you had just run by, and it would still wallop you... Wait a second, good scripting? Excuse me while I get drunk so that it appears to look good... |
