What do i have to do to be able to play my server on 1.28

Sir, abandon this endeavour while you still can. Hosting your own server = bad.

im not expecting 2.0.5 GServer but maybe one with more of the scripting commands so we can test them online to see how laggy it is with multiply people

i can answer that one, no, becasue to many people would take advantage of it

more specifically players could connect but they could not see one another. nor could I see them. or what was going on..

is 1.36 illgal too....because my friend had one up on it, and unixmad shut it down...
so, i guess...all gservers are illgal

My friend Ducky is making an NPC server.

So far it can recieve PM's in the playerlist. and update levels I think.

he told me stefan said it was fine as long as he didn't use p2p functions? but that's prolly cuz it was on a non-p2p server...

It may seem cool owning your own server, but in the end it's very unrewarding.

- 1.28 is slow, and 1.31 has memory problems.
- It is horribly simple to cheat on them.
- 8 player limit. Imagine playing a graal server with only 8 people constantly.
- All of the new innovative scripting doesn't work on them.

Private servers own because only your friends go on and you will most likely will not have more than 5 people on at a time.
