I scripted a lottery system of for use with an NPC Server, but never submitted it. Maybe I should.

Blue-Poyozo 09-01-2001 09:29 AM

Hey I like that idea.

Shard_IceFire 09-01-2001 09:31 AM

=D it's been done. But not with NPC Server

Lyndzey 09-01-2001 09:36 AM

You would need NPC Server...getplayer

Butz 09-01-2001 09:41 AM

People buy tickets for 1 gralat each, and half the money paid for tickets goes to the winner, while the rest goes to events team to use for prizes in events...
Drawings every day
How about that?

Rekad 09-01-2001 09:43 AM

not enough people for a big lottery.

KJS 09-01-2001 09:43 AM

and if the powerball is not won on that day.. then the pot just keeps on adding.. so the power ball money can get really high...

just like the real powerball...

make it also like so people can buy as many tickets as they want..

HeeroYuy2000 09-01-2001 09:55 AM

yeah like the power ball starts out with 1000 theen all the ticket money adds to the power ball

KJS 09-01-2001 10:13 AM

well thats how the real powerball works..

Actually I don't really like the idea of a lottery.. (which powerball is) Because what happens when the jackpot gets incredibly high? Like 25,000 gralat? I mean eventually if everyone gives out 1 gralat a day that lotto ammount is gonna be huge.. do you really want people walking around with 25,000 gralat? They would be able to buy anything.. And it would happen for many people.. There would be this group of lotto winners that would be like the upperclass and be way richer than any normal player.. it would become unfair :(
